Rules and Safety Instructions
- Arrival: The instructor is not responsible if you are late. Arrive at the time agreed upon, but no earlier than 10 minutes before your class. If you arrive early, contact your instructor or a team member by phone to check if early entry is possible.
- Extra Time: Any additional time will be charged at $75.00 per hour per person in quarter-hour increments.
- Documentation: All students will receive a BAS worksheet with their name. This must be filled out and signed before starting your project.
- Instructions: Instructions will be provided before your class begins.
- Age Restrictions:
- Minimum age for attending a class: 10 years old.
- Students aged 10–15 years require guardian supervision.
Safety Instructions for Fused Glass Class
Follow these safety precautions to ensure a safe and enjoyable glass-fusing experience.
- Operate your equipment correctly.
- Be aware of your surroundings.
- Use a brush to keep your workspace clean.
- Use tweezers for handling small pieces of glass.
- Store hazardous materials in a designated area.
- Avoid eating and drinking while working.
- Wash your hands after leaving the workspace.
- Wear a smock or apron to protect your clothing.
- Tie back long hair to keep it away from your face.
- Take precautions to prevent injuries—glass shards can cause serious eye damage.
- Wear a dust mask when handling glass powders, especially during grinding or sawing.
- Keep bandages nearby for accidental cuts.
