Calendar & Classes

The calendar displays all already-booked spots.

For private parties or individual classes, please call 773-526-1127 to arrange booking and discuss alternative dates and times.

You may also purchase a gift certificate for any of our classes — just keep in mind that class scheduling with a gift certificate must be arranged by phone or email.

Please note: Classes are subject to change based on instructor availability, ongoing projects, and seasonal adjustments.

Important Notes

 After booking a class, your name will appear on the calendar.
Please allow one business day for it to be updated.

 Students will receive a text message reminder one day before their scheduled class.

 No refunds or rescheduling are allowed less than 24 hours before a scheduled class.

 Safety Policy:
All students must:

Follow all instructor safety instructions

Wear long pants or skirtslong sleeves, and closed-toe shoes (no sandals or shorts)

 Class schedule may change based on instructor availability, ongoing projects, or seasonal adjustments.

Monday
Fused Glass Bowl Workshop

6:00–8:00 PM | $225

All materials & kiln firings included

Ages 14+ | Beginners welcome

Create your own unique round fused glass bowl using colorful scrap glass.

Step-by-step:

  1. Choose a round template sized to the bowl mold, around 12”-16”
  2. Pick your favorite colors and shapes from our scrap-glass collection.
  3. Layer and arrange pieces on the template to design your pattern.
  4. We’ll kiln fire your design flat (full fuse), then fire it again over a mold to shape it into a bowl.
  5. Your finished bowl will be ready for pickup in a few days (shipping available at client’s cost).

Includes all materials, tools, and two kiln firings.
Tip: To finish your project in one session, we’ll guide you step-by-step so you stay on track. If you need more time, you’re welcome to book Thursday Studio Time to complete it.

Tuesday Evening & Saturday Morning
Stained Glass Ornament Workshop

Tuesdays, 6:00–8:00 PM | Saturdays, 10:00 AM–12:00 PM | $100

Ages 14+ | Beginners welcome

Create a smaller abstract, animal-inspired, or holiday-themed stained glass ornament — with designs available for every season.

Step-by-step:

  1. Choose from our seasonal and themed ornament patterns (average size ~10″ × 5″, varies by design).
  2. Select your colors — precut glass is provided.
  3. Apply copper foil to each glass piece.
  4. Solder your ornament together.
  5. Take your finished piece home the same day.

Tip: We’ll guide you so you can complete your ornament in class, but if you’d like extra time to work on it, Thursday Studio Time is available.

Wednesday
Stained Glass Workshop: Bungalow Inspired Prairie Style

6:00–8:30 PM | $135

All materials included |Beginners welcome

Create a 6″ × 6″ copper foil stained glass piece inspired by the classic bungalow prairie style.

Step-by-step:

  1. Select your colors — glass pieces will be precut for you.
  2. Optionally, try glass cutting with instructor guidance.
  3. Apply copper foil to each piece.
  4. Solder the foiled pieces together to create your panel.
  5. Finish and take your completed stained glass project home the same day.

All tools and materials provided.
Tip: To finish your project in one session, we’ll guide you step-by-step so you stay on track. If you need more time, you’re welcome to book Thursday Studio Time to complete it.

Thursday
Studio Time

6:00–8:00 PM | $60 per session

Open studio time for BAS students to practice skills or finish projects started in a BAS workshop.

  • Must have taken at least one BAS workshop.
  • Not instructed – supervision only.
  • You may come at any time within the 4:00–8:00 PM window; staying the entire time is not required.
  • Use of our tools (glass cutters, grinders) included.
  • Some smaller scraps of glass provided; additional glass, tools, and supplies available for purchase.

A relaxed, flexible space to work at your own pace, gain confidence, and explore your creativity.

Friday
Fused Glass Party

6:00–7:30PM | $55

Ages 10+ | No skills required

Step-by-step:

  1. Decorate a 4″ × 4″ square of glass, creating a coaster or suncatcher.
  2. Choose your own colors and design style.
  3. We’ll kiln fire your piece.
  4. Pick up your finished project in a few days.

Fun, relaxing, and the easiest of our classes — a great way to try glass art!

Saturday Afternoon
Advanced Stained Glass Class: Chicago Flag Inspire

2:00–6:30 PM | $235 |

Ages 16+ | For experienced  students

Create a Chicago Flag–inspired stained glass panel in this advanced-level workshop.

Step-by-step:

  1. Cut your glass pieces (some cutting experience recommended).
  2. Grind and prepare each piece.
  3. Apply copper foil to every piece.
  4. Solder, finish, and clean your panel.
  5. Take your completed 11” x 13” piece home.
  6. This class includes both copper foil and lead channel to complete and reinforce your piece professionally.

Includes a 15-minute break for both students and the instructor.
Tip: We’ll keep you on schedule so you can complete your panel during class. If you’d prefer more time for details, you can book Thursday Studio Time.

Private One-on-One Glass Art Classes

Price: 2 hours – $180 | 3 hours – $270 | 4 hours – $360
Duration: 2 to 4 hours per session

 

Our private classes are designed for flexibility—book as needed, with no ongoing commitment required. Perfect for students of any skill level, from beginners exploring glass art for the first time to advanced artists refining their craft.

Work one-on-one with a professional instructor to learn and practice techniques in stained glass and fused glass.

 A 2-hour minimum applies, with longer sessions offering more in-depth exploration and project progress.

Each class is scheduled when our studio calendar is available, ensuring dedicated time and attention. Sessions take place in our fully equipped studio, providing all the tools and materials needed to bring your creative vision to life.

Longer sessions of 3 or 4 hours allow for significant advancement on your chosen project, whether completing a small piece or developing more complex skills. This individual format offers a hands-on, enriching environment to build your confidence, creativity, and technical mastery in glass art.
